Engraving Type Selection

Two engraving methods produce opposite marking effects on the molded part:

Engraving on the core pin creates a marking on the molded part. But it's not the only way to mark parts:

About Engraved Core Pins

Engraved core pins eliminate post-mold laser engraving or pad printing entirely — the characters are machined into the pin tip so every part emerges with the marking already formed.

When the date changes, only the pin is swapped — a 2-minute operation that does not require mold disassembly. Many customers maintain a rotating set of engraved pins for weekly or monthly date changeover.
