Available shank diameters are D = 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 mm, and the shank diameter tolerance is +0.005/0 with m5, so you must size the mating bore accordingly to achieve the intended sliding/locating fit.
Select the tip length via B (tip length) = L or S, then confirm the overall lengths using the fixed LC (full length alteration) = 17 to 39.9 mm. Because L (L dimension) is variable (30–40 mm or 25–40 mm depending on the configuration), verify that the punch fully covers the required forming depth without bottoming on the cavity support.
