The Three Precision Advantages

  1. Zero stick-slip: Sliding bushings have 3-5x higher static friction, causing jerky initial motion. Ball bearings have equal static and dynamic friction — smooth from the first micron.
  2. Reduced clearance: Ball preload reduces effective clearance to < 0.005 mm (vs 0.013-0.034 mm for H7/g6 sliding).
  3. No wear-in: Sliding bushings need 10K-50K cycles to develop smooth wear surfaces. Ball bushings are at full precision from cycle 1.
