Plate guide rails offer a lower profile than traditional steel block rails, but have specific boundary conditions for successful implementation.

- Mold height is heavily restricted and you cannot afford deep pockets.
- You are utilizing top-mounted slide retainers.
- The slide core is relatively wide but low in vertical height.
🔄 Consider Switching To:
If the slide core is extremely heavy (>20kg) → Steel Guide Rails — Plate rails lack the deep vertical sidewall support needed to prevent tilt under heavy lateral loads.
Application Scenarios
Low-Profile Mold Layouts
When the distance between the parting line and the clamp plate is less than 50mm, thick L-rails won't fit.

Cleanroom Molding
Medical molding where grease cannot be used. Solid bronze or oilless plate rails are required.
